Welcome to the IRF 2019 World Rafting Championships. Over 35+ years of rafting has now hit the Australian soil and we are ready to see who is going to Tame the Tully. The World Rafting Championships is a coming together of rafters from all over the world participating and competing in the toughest white water rapids.
The pinnacle event follows the much anticipated Pre Worlds 2018. The Rafting event is taking place in the heart of the Cassowary Coast Region, the Tully River.
Australia is looking forward to hosting such a thrilling world event and is sure to make it a memorable one. The peak event is a true celebration of the sport with national federations coming from around the globe. The event will feature international athletes competing in Open, Masters, U23 and U19 divisions through a combination of river rapids R6 ranging from Sprints, H2H, Salmon and Down River in one of the most iconic settings in Australia.

Athletes will have the opportunity to book their accommodation in the incredible Athletes Village which will be located in the heart of the Tully. This will be an amazing luxury glamping set up surrounded with endless entertainment. The camping grounds is on a powered site with toilets and showers.
The glamping accommodation is an additional cost.
Each tent can sleep up to 4 athletes, support crew are also welcome to purchase and book their accommodation.
