Big Water Safety Equipment has today been announced as an Official Support Partner of the IRF 2019 World Rafting Championships to be held on the Tully River, Tropical North Queensland 13 – 20 May 2019.

The event has been officially sanctioned by the International Rafting Federation and will attract over 1,000 competitors from 50 countries all over the world, injecting over $7 million into the Cassowary Coast Region.

Local Cairns business, Big Water Safety Equipment was established by Alan Carrette in 2004 and provides whitewater paddling and safety equipment for all adventure sports, stocking only quality and reliable gear.

Big Water has grown into one of the largest providers of safety equipment to emergency services and commercial water adventure companies across Australia.

Their website sells directly to the Australian paddling community.
